Clay has held leadership roles at renowned companies like PWC, where he served as Managing Director for the Midwest region and Global Mid-to-Large Market solutions leader. He has managed successful transformations for Fortune 500 clients and pre-IPO startups alike.
Throughout his career, Clay has been recognized for his ability to create synergy and efficiency during mergers and acquisitions, guiding projects from pre-planning and due diligence through post-merger integration and operational stabilization. He has led numerous global projects, including major implementations for companies such as Fortive, Toyota, and Twentieth Century Fox. Clay co-founded Elara Partners to bring his hands-on operational expertise and strategic insight to private equity firms, helping them optimize HR, payroll, IT, and business operations during critical transitions.
